REPLACEMENT GRO CERTIFICATES
Replacement birth, marriage and death certificates.
We can order replacement GRO certificates for you. Offering a fast replacement document service we obtain a new version of your certificate, called a certified copy. We can then legalise the document with our express apostille service so you can present the UK document in another country. Birth Certificates
We can order a replacement birth certificate for you, direct from the General Register Office (GRO). When ordering a birth certificate we normally order the ‘long version’ that includes more detail. It is the long version, with parents names included, that is more widely accepted outside of the UK.
Marriage Certificates
Marriage certificates from registrar offices and churches are available to order from the GRO. All marriages are recorded at the central GRO around 18 months after the ceremony took place. We can order a replacement marriage certificate for you.
Death Certificates
All deaths are recorded at a local register office, soon after the death has been declared. These are later added to the central GRO records. We can order a replacement death certificate for any UK recorded death.
